Key influencers and business leaders to gather at National Infrastructure Forum

Now in its third year, and taking place as part of the Public Sector Show for the first time, the National Infrastructure Forum (NIF) combines thought-leading content, top-level policy briefings, and insights into the future of the sector.

This year’s event is bringing together the most prominent figures and influencers in the industry, the forum creates the opportunity to discuss and debate the key issues in UK infrastructure, dealing with challenges such as delivering the infrastructure pipeline, Britain’s new industrial strategy, Brexit, expanding the supply chain and embracing the future of infrastructure.

The government has made infrastructure a core priority and central foundation of its ambitious industrial strategy and plan to drive up British productivity. The 2017 update to the National Infrastructure and Construction Pipeline has outlined over £460bn of planned public and private investment in infrastructure, rising to an estimated £600bn over the next ten years, with around half of the pipeline to 2020/21 made up of public funding; of this, around 90% is funded by central government.

NIF at The Public Sector Show 2018 will provide those responsible for infrastructure planning and delivery in central and local government with the key insights, policy updates, solutions and case-studies to enable them to deliver the projects needed to underpin the UK’s future prosperity.
